Established in 2004, Renaissance Publishing combines book packaging and publishing a small number of books under its own imprint with specialist cookbook and other non-fiction editing and proofreading services.
Renaissance principal Renée Lang has worked in the industry for many years and offers astute knowledge of every aspect of book publishing, especially for those who are new to the process. Renée has also written several books including But Who’s Looking After the Animals? Urban Chicks, Auckland Harbour Bridge and 101 Must-do Weekends.
As well as publishing mainstream titles for the book trade, Renaissance works with entrepreneurial companies to produce their books. Examples of this include Golden Arches Under Southern Skies: 35 years of McDonald’s in New Zealand, Flowers at Home, and More Than a Pipe Dream.
Renaissance Publishing offers a total book packaging service starting from researching and writing content through to printed copies. Assistance with marketing, sales and distribution is also available if required. Since establishing its book packaging services Renaissance has worked with publishers including Penguin and New Holland, corporate clients such as McDonald’s and a number of private individuals.
